I miss London so much. I want to go back. I want to get Indian food from Brick Lane and eat a burger with a fried egg and drink some strongbow. But anyways, webcast at 8 PM London time. Cheers.

So the show was moved by the London Police down the street to a venue because due to safety reasons but it was still rock and roll through and through. They played all of In Rainbows straight through as well as a very interesting set of songs for an encore.
Setlist:
15 Step
Bodysnatachers
Nude
Weird Fishes/Arpeggi
All I Need
Faust Arp
Reckoner
House of Cards
Jigsaw Falling Into Place

The Bends

I have a feeling a lot of songs from The Bends as well as the more rockin’ tunes from their other albums are going to make an appearance during their upcoming tour. Radiohead is back to ROCK!!!

NT89 works his magic on this remix with his signature arpeggios that are quite metal and epic.

Sources reveal exclusively to PerezHilton.com that the Coachella Music Festival is heading east this year!
“In addition having the festival outside of Palm Springs, like they do every year, this year they’re mounting an east coast version of Coachella in New York or possibly New Jersey,” an insider tells us.
The East coast version is expected to be a few months after the Cali affair. “It should be in August,” we’re told.
Fun times!

I don’t think that equation makes sense, but anyways Jessie Chaton is the frontman of the French glam rock band, Fancy opening up for Justice on their upcoming US tour. Apparently Mr. Chaton wrote D.A.N.C.E which increases Fancy’s music street cred. Jessie Chaton makes a guest appearance on Rinôçérôse’s album Schizophonia on the track “Bitch”. I’m excited to see these guys open for Justice, they look like they put on a great show and just rock.

I just got my hands on Todd Edwards’ Odyssey and am listening to it and really digging it and I think to myself, wow Daft Punk really rips him off, especially his vocal style. I then do some research and find out that Todd Edwards co-produced “Face to Face” and is the guy singing on it. Ha! Oh and he is mentioned in “Teachers” off Homework. Daft Punk DiscoveryTodd Edwards is apparently the godfather of the Garage scene in the UK, a producer from Bloomfield, New Jersey. I love what he does with vocals, he has this cut up sound that reminds me of Prefuse 73, just listen to what he does to the the vocals in the Klaxons remix. I love his synth bass sounds, they are so slick and the way he uses Fender Rhodes in his tracks. I’m so glad I finally discovered him.

The people at Fabric rejected the Justice’s Fabriclive mix because it was too short and the mix was not what they were expecting, too much French pop and disco. They even wanted to add Donna Summers’ “Dim All The Lights” and Supertramp’s “Another Man’s Woman”. Instead they just made a few copies and gave it awwayas a xmas mix. Who has a copy? 🙂 I got my hands on most of these tracks and love this mix, it gives you some insight into what is going on in Justice’s musical minds.Asian Dan Justice Fabriclive 37 Post

I am really feeling this new track by Estelle featuring Kanye, it is very French disco sounding. Notice the track gets filtered out during the verse and the bassline is so slick. Estelle sounds a bit like Donna Summer on this and Kanye does his thing as usual, he kind of sounds British. Cheers.

So I just heard this song on the radio the other day and was really impressed by it especially the sample that she uses that sounded to familiar to me, it was of course Michael Jackson’s “Wanna Be Startin’ Something”. I then found out that Michael Jackson took that hook from a 1973 track by Afrique, “Soul Makossa”, even copied bassline. Either way I love how the Rihanna track gets filtered out during the verse. French Filter House is everywhere!!Rihanna – Don’t Stop The Music

So who are these two Japanese hipsters that get to hangout with Daft Punk & the Ed Banger Crew? Well they are DJ Maar and DJ Daruma and they haven’t released their productions/remixes/mixes out in the US and they only spin in Asia. So I don’t know much about them or can figure anything out by reading their blog/record label/clothing line site, Roc Star News since I can’t read Japanese. There are a bunch of photos of them chilling with Boys Noize, Intitubes artists, DJ Falcon as well a s bunch of photos form the dafunkfest Japan Tour ’07.
