The title track “Palo Alto” finds Devonté Hynes tapping into the 90s world with a very RnB and Trip-Hop laced song that sounds like it could have made the cut to the Romeo+Juliet soundtrack.
Never under estimate the power of the under-2 minute pop song. Chromeo’s “Ezra’s Interlude” fully exploits this powerful songwriting tool with the help of Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig and his soulful falsetto.
