Annie could have been the queen of this whole electro-pop girl genre that has come to the forefront with Little Boots and La Roux but I guess she has bad luck, with being dropped from Vice cause she did poorly in North America.
This new tune is her usual bubblegum pop with a little touch of diet bloghaus banger. The pre-chorus vocal melody even reminds me of “Chewing Gum”. We shall see what else she has in store when her album drops next week.

Fantastic mix – that includes, Iggy Pop, Joy Division’s “Warsaw”, Blur’s “Music is My Radar”, Skee-Lo (!), Prince’s “Starfish & Coffee”, Jamie Lidell into Miranda! AND Carly Simon’s “Why?” – all my fav tunes from these artists! I can’t wait for the Magistrates’ album.
Miami Horror’s new single ‘Sometimes’ is the first single off the debut album ‘Illumination’ out early 2010. It is a smooth electro-pop tune that really showcases Miami Horror’s songwriter side while still keeping it quite dancefloor friendly. I still love Miami Horror’s remix of PNAU’s “Embrace” that he did with Fred Falke – I want more from that duo!

Luca C. and Ali Love team up to craft this latest mix for the fall. It is a nice balance of cosmic/Italo Disco with some 90s sounding house – they even drop some Azari & III and Holy Ghost!.
Also check out Ali Love’s new single “Diminishing Returns”, here – a track that Luca co-wroteand Dubka helped out on. I love it. I am looking forward to the Azari & III remix of this track! Looking forward to the Ali Love’s new album which is also produced by Dubka and co-written with Luca. Check out Dubka’s Myspace Blog for album updates.
