It sounds like summer is near. The sights and sounds of warm weather and crisp breezes are all brought to life by Lifelike’s reworking of Pony Pony Run Run’s “Walking on A Line”. Also check out Lifelike’s new label he just started Computer Science with such acts Frankfurt Express.

The first time I heard the Plasticines was their lovely screams on Cazals’ “A Big Mistake” This remix by the one and only Lifelike is a classic French disco sounding tune that just washes over you. Dance hipster girls, dance.

Lifelike turns Moby’s “Mistake” into a track that Jan Hammer, would be proud of – dark, epic, Miami Vice, sounding synth-clav. Also Moby kind of sounds like Bowie at some points. Love it.

Lifelike works his usual production skills on this track. He has definitely grown and found his sound, that Yazoo/80s synth sound. I dig it but not his best remix.

Lifelike gets into the holiday spirit with this remix of Wham!’s “Last Christmas”. Lifelike should have remixed Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmas Time”, my favorite Xmas song, I love the intro synth part.
