On May 25, 2009 Magistrates will be releasing their new Heartbreak EP in the UK. It will feature their new single “Heartbreak” which you can hear now at their myspace as a remix of the track and a cover of Sterling Void’s “Runaway Girl”, a classic 1988 Chicago House tune that suits Magistrates’ falsetto poppy sound.

Pegase is a French producer (the singer of Mintel Rose) who creates tracks that border electro and shoegaze, kind of like M83 (especially the vox) meets the distorted synth that we all know an love. I guess he is trying to get that heavy distorted sound a la My Bloody Valentine but with synths instead of guitars. I hear some Tangerine Dream in his tracks too. Cheers, Electrorash

Nickydigital.com Presents PRE PARTY JAMZ VOLUME 39: Congorock

I was so impressed with Congorock after I saw him open for MSTRKRFT back in October in Boston. So I am really excited about this mixtape that he crafted for Nickydigital.com, everyone check it out!

I just did a “party” search on my iTunes and grabbed the best ones who fitted the mood of the mix tape! The only one that doesn’t have party in the title its my remix of Romanthony‘s Never Fuck which is yet to be a Friday-night anthem.

I am just back from gigging in New York City so I wanted to put a classic disco Salsoul jam in the end. I <3 NY!
