WOW. Speechless. Will 2009 be the year of Daft Punk?! Checkout Glenjamn’s sick videos from last night. So Thomas’ only did a 3 song set, “Rollin’ & Scratchin'”, DJ Mehdi’s “Signatune”, & Prince’s “Raspberry Beret”. STILL EPIC!!
UPDATE: Glenjamn was contacted by the Daft Camp requesting to take down the vids.

Little Boots covering The Virgins produced by Lord Skywave, Simon Lord of The Black Ghosts and Simian. This is quite an indie-tastic collaboration, in theory this track should be awesome but it just falls short, it is lacking something. Either way I still heart Little Boots.

Leonardus crafted this exclusive minimix for Asian Dan, it is quite an old school sounding mix showcasing that this Dutch DJ/Producer understands the elements of the old French Touch movement. Cheers, Leonardus for this mix!

I love how Krautrock this track sounds at first, The swirling synth swells, the pedaling bass line and the motoring drum part, Neu! and Kraftwerk would be proud. Then the track kicks into its full fledged disco, dance goodness. And then the bridge just filters out and melts away then trickles back into its full fidelity. I can’t wait for Mr. Falke’s reworking of the already catchy “Two Weeks” by Grizzly Bear. Cheers, Mr. Falke.

Para One was invited by famous choral conductor Laurence Equilbey (aka Iko) to reinterpret his choice of classical classics (Bach, Mozart, Beethoven). Once again Para One proves his immense musical talent and taste. Jean Michel Jarre and Wendy Carlos would be proud of these tracks. Private Domain is out now on naïve. Cheers, Buzz En Direkt

On May 25, 2009 Magistrates will be releasing their new Heartbreak EP in the UK. It will feature their new single “Heartbreak” which you can hear now at their myspace as a remix of the track and a cover of Sterling Void’s “Runaway Girl”, a classic 1988 Chicago House tune that suits Magistrates’ falsetto poppy sound.
