I’ve never really listened to this The Horrors until I heard this track and I love it. From what I have been reading on the interwebs, this is an atypical new sound for The Horrors. “Sea Within a Sea” is a dark krautrock pop tune that at first listen reminded me of Neu! meets “The Rip” by Portishead which is interesting because I found out that their new album Primary Colours is produced by Geoff Barrow of Portishead. The 2nd half of “Sea Within a Sea” with those major arpeggiated chords sound very similar to the end of “The Rip”.
Peaches upcoming album seems to be shaping up into quite a big name collaboration project, with productions from Simian Mobile Disco, Gonzales, Digitalsim, Drums Of Death, and the one and only Dewaele Brothers. It’s like Peaches is the 2009 female version of Tiga’s “Ciao!” with all these collaborations.
Erol Alkan and Richard Norris crafted this Psycho-delic minimix of some great psychedelic 60s tunes, pop tunes as well as a few edits of their own. You really see how much music Erol knows and that he just isn’t a bangertastic DJ/Producer. Beyond the Wizard’s Sleeve just recently released “Re Animations Vol 1” a collection of some of their “re-animations/re-visions/re-edits/re-mixes” of tracks by The Chemical Bros, Simian Mobile Disco, and Late of the Pier just to name a few.
Also checkout a little clip Glenjamn took of Erol’s set from Hard 13 from this past Friday. Erol drop’s Daft Punk’s ATW but with an unknown track under the a capella. Anyone know what track it is? I love that acid bassline.

14 dance cuts chosen by Mr. Eddie Mars. Sit back and enjoy some classic disco tunes. Everything from Cerrone to Patrick Cowley and even a track by Eddie Mars himself.
Foamo provides a re-edit of Skream’s remix of La Roux’s In for the Kill. Foamo turns the track into a Burial-esque sounding track with a little more kick, definitely an end track to a rainy night. Speaking of Burial what is he up to I want more music from him.
I love this track and it is nothing to do with the title or the Karate Kid references in the video and artwork. This is such a tragic/Kate Bush sounding song. Weird video that could only be made by a Swede. DANIEL SON.
One Man Party & RKID crafted this 30 Min & 18 Sec DJ Set that is quite bangertastic. Why is everyone in Soulwax so good at anything to do with music?! There is something in the Belgian air.
