Shuttle returns with this latest remix of the Post Punkers, O. Children transforming “Fault Line” into an emotional club banger that is sure to move minds, hearts, and feet.
The nostalgia driven George FitzGerald put together this mix that echoes all the classic elements of UK Garage, 2-Step, RnB and House – to create a 40 min experience that makes you wonder what it really takes to create good dance music. Check out a little Q&A with Mr. FitzGerald on URB.com

Thanks to the one and only Asian Dan intern, Sam for showing me that Body Language is offering up their latest EP, “Social Studies” via Bandcamp.com – a 4 track EP that is satisfying all my Synth Pop urges at the moment. The opening track “You Can” is a favorite of mine, a very RnB synth driven song with a lovely lofty male/female duet that floats over an array of synths. The title track “Social Studies” reminds of Flaming Lips circa Yoshimi but with female vocals instead of Mr. Wayne Coyne. Download the EP for free from now.

I return from the real world to the blogosphere with this gem from the one and only Todd Edwards. It was al ovely surprise to see Todd this past Friday in the crowd at Jamaica’s show at Webster Hall in NYC especially with such kind words, it was definitely a reverse bizarro world blogosphere/IRL experience. Todd strikes back with an amazing remix of my favorite Spank Rock songs, “What It Look Like”, a tune that is included in the massive Ninja Tune XX Box set. He mixes it up by throwing in a different drum pattern, rather than his signature 2-step garage pattern which really gives an great vibe to the track.

Here is a new track from my favorite French popster’s Stereolab off their upcoming album “Not Music”. It is a sunny pop song that starts with a catchy groove in 7/8 then kicks into their usual Stereolab Pop sound care of a driving Steve Reich-esque marimba part. Definitely looking forward to this album which is out on 11.16.2010
