Luca C. & Brigante dive into the “deep” end with their latest single “On A Star” which features the spacey vocals of Ali Love. “On a Star” is a slow hypnotic psychedlic tribal disco track that is propelled by an arpeggiated guitar that swims in a swarm of synths. Just imagine if Tangerine Dream produced a Fleetwood mac tune in the early 80s. This track is off their latest EP entitled “Invisible Cities” out on Southern Fried Records now.
Ali Love’s album “Love Harder” arrives July 26 and the Belgian Trio, Villa reworks the next single “Smoke and Mirrors” into an epic house track. Make sure to give the demo version of this remix a listen in the Exclusive Asian Dan Villa Mix.

I expect nothing less from Ali Love and Co, straightforward, well written synth Pop. Big drums, warm analog synths, and catchy falsetto hooks – everything I love about his music. Looking forward to his album “Love Harder” out 7.26.2010.

Luca C. & Brigante take on a frequent collaborator and friend, Ali Love’s latest single “Love Harder” with their slowburner disco take on the original. Be on the look out for Luca C. & Brigante’s remix of Classixx “I’ll Get You” – it’s already up on their myspace.
Ali Love’s next single is “Love Harder” that that summons the likes of Vangelis, Prince, Jan Hammer and Depeche Mode. A dark love tune that evokes the images of neon lights reflecting on a wet pavement city street. The chorus reminds me of the Giorgio Moroder produced Freddie Mercury tune “Love Kills”. Bravo once again Mr. Dubka & co.
“Girl, girl. Tonight. Dancefloor.” That lyric sums up what this track is all about. Do it. In Flagranti kills it with this remix. Ali Love’s album is up there on my highly anticipated albums of Twenty-Ten list.
Two weeks ago, Cazals announced that they were splitting to pursue each of their own musical endeavours. Daniel (lead guitar) is now pursuing Blank Space a new wave, guitar and synth driven solo project. Phil (singer) is no pursuing his own solo project he is hoping to launch in the new year. Warren and Luca C. are now part of the I Blame Coco’s live band – Coco Sumner’s (Sting’s Daughters) band. And as you all know Luca C. and Martin Dubka have been busy producing and co-writing Ali Love’s new solo album, an album I looking very forward to. It is very unfortunate that this great brit-rock band have split, a band that has been championed by Daft Punk, Andre, and Kitsune, just to name a few. I’m looking forward to all their future projects.
Luca C. has teamed up with Brigante to bring back that classic cosmic disco sound that electronic is in need of these days. The duo re-visions Ali Love’s “Diminishing Returns” as a cosmic italo acid track, 303 bassline included.
Azari & III turns Ali Love’s slick Italo Disco tune into dark, dense house tune that would sound best on a loud soundsystem at 4 in the morning while in a very inebriated and in a very dark room. Also I cannot stop listening to the original version of “Diminishing Returns” – Ali Love, Luca C, and Dubka did such an amazing job.
Luca C. and Ali Love team up to craft this latest mix for the fall. It is a nice balance of cosmic/Italo Disco with some 90s sounding house – they even drop some Azari & III and Holy Ghost!.
Also check out Ali Love’s new single “Diminishing Returns”, here – a track that Luca co-wroteand Dubka helped out on. I love it. I am looking forward to the Azari & III remix of this track! Looking forward to the Ali Love’s new album which is also produced by Dubka and co-written with Luca. Check out Dubka’s Myspace Blog for album updates.
