!!! unveils their 2nd single off their upcoming LP, “THR!!!ER” entitled “One Girl/One Boy” which is a super smooth pop-funk jam that is propelled by a watery rhythm guitar that just washes over you. “THR!!!ER” is out April 30 care of Warp Records.
Canblaster demolishes Cashmere Cat’s pristine production and reconstructs “Kiss Kiss” into a hyper-cosmic-RnB track. This is the Future Sex/Love Sounds that I want and think the world deserves in 2013.
G. Vump transforms “Mirror Maru” into a dark and deep tune that straddles multiple genres and vibes, resulting in a refreshing and massive remix.
Blood Orange transforms Phoenix’s “Entertainment” into a 90s RnB track that sounds like it was supposed to be on the Romeo+Juliet Soundtrack. A lovely re-visioning of Phoenix’s cryptic and profound lyrics and melodies.
Clark demolishes Letherette’s “D&T” then reconstructs the tune into a cyborg beast born out of Terminator 2. This is quite a surprising and refreshing sound from Clark, the man of many sounds and talents. Mr. Oizo would approve of this remix.
Techno monger, Jimmy Edgar fulfills Jamie Lidell’s “You Naked” full jacking potential. It is a full on funky dancefloor ready version of Jamie’s already over the top cyber funk.
Mount Kimbie announces their sophomore LP entitled “Cold Spring Fault Less Youth” out May 28 on Warp Records. It features 2 collaborations with King Krule, a very fitting collaboration for their brand of introspective electronic music. Download a new track titled “Made To Stray” for free here.
