2008 is coming to a close. It was quite an eventful and exciting musical year. So many great tracks, albums, and remixes by new and old artists and so much music to look forward to in 2009. It is now that time for the obligatory Top 10’s of 2008. I am featuring Asian Dan’s Top 10 Tracks, Albums, Remixes, and Shows of 2008. Glenjamn captured Fake Blood’s magic with his Ninja Vid skills. Fake Blood is using 2 CDJ’s and Serato, quite an impressive DJ setup for one man. His little live edit of Tiga’s Mind Dimension is great which segues into his own edit of Soulwax’s version of Daft Punk’s Teachers. He cuts up the syllables in Teachers to “say” Fake Blood like he does in all his remixes/edits. So great. I can’t wait to hear more of Fake Blood in 2009, I can’t believe I just got into him these past few weeks. Better now then never.

Lifelike gets into the holiday spirit with this remix of Wham!’s “Last Christmas”. Lifelike should have remixed Paul McCartney’s “Wonderful Christmas Time”, my favorite Xmas song, I love the intro synth part.
