A new demo from Brighton’s Mirrors has surfaced on the interwebs. A synth laden pop tune that reminds me of Tears for Fears – makes you feel like life is moving in slow motion.

I posted “Look at Me” by Mirrors a few months ago, a track that I still can’t stop listening to. A dense synth pop song that reminded me of Joy Division’s “Atmosphere”. Mirrors sent me over this demo of a new track “Hide and Seek” which shows off a more sentimental/lighter pop side that is reminiscent of Vince Clarke’s work with Depeche Mode and Yazoo.

Hyperbole always posts such good tracks. Props to that b-log. Mirrors are a band from Brighton, UK that evoke images of late Joy Division especially my favourite track, “Atmosphere” (Amazing video by Anton Corbjin) and early New Order of course. Great synth/mellotron action going on in this track.
