The LuckyMe family is back with their 2020 Advent Calendar. Jacques Greene kicks off the 12 day compilation with with this meditative and introspective intro tune “Thaw” – download it over at bandcamp now where proceeds of the track will go to The Extinction Rebellion Global Relief Fund.

“With all this time on my hands during the great isolation of 2020 I decided to record some covers of my favorite songs. I planned only to share them with close friends. “Sometimes” was recorded live in one take straight to 4-track cassette. I sent the initial raw guitar and vocal version to Jacques Greene and he had the idea of going full Andrew Weatherall 90’s Balearic. He worked out an arrangement and added drums and here we are with this version. It is definitely best listened to while a warm breeze is blowing across your face.”
