Chromeo enlists the Frances ambassador of boogie disco, Breakbot to bless their next single “When The Night Falls”. The main hook has a super house cut-up disco vibe a la Todd Edwards with a serious funky bassline. This remix is all that Breakbot has to offer, definitely a dancefloor pleaser.

It seems that hanging out with Daryl Hall has rubbed off on the Chromeo boys. “Don’t Turn The Lights On” is the first single off of “Business Casual” which sounds like their version of “I Can’t Go For That” – which I feel is amazing. Every band should aspire to write tunes like Hall & Oates.

Wow. The first half of this tune is super slick and Hall & Oates’ pop then it slips into this dark 8-bit arpeggiated bridge that sounds amazing LOUD. I love the bassline during the chorus. Siriusmo is too amazing.
