Bullion : Loop The Loop
Bullion has been moving into the synth pop songwriting territory for a while with his project Nautic and his past few singles. His album Loop The Loop is out early next year and ventures down a very Connan Mockasin and Ariel Pink lane covered in 80s The Buggles synth production and quirkiness – a fun sound to hear these days.
GILA : SHED SKIN PART 9
GILA the man in charge of production duties in Gorgeous Children unveils a 9 song EP that dives deep into the murky depths. Tracks like “Pocket Full Of Vision” and “Mud AF” prove he can go toe-for-toe with any of the big-beat-808 slingers in the game but with even more finesse and groove. But tunes like “Passing By ” and “Trench Summoning” show that he is on to something else as they slowly unveil and blossom into passages that contain nuances that trickle through the bass below.
ANOHNI : 4 Degrees (Prod. By Hudson Mohawke & Oneohtrix Point Never)
Been waiting to hear this beautiful collision of worlds ever it was announced a few months ago that Antony Hegarty enlisted Hudson Mohawke and Oneohtrix Point Never to help sculpt and produce new sounds for an entire album. “4 Degrees” does not disappoint and elevates Antony’s already powerful into an exciting new place.
Baltra : Fade Away
AT NITE,
I TOSS AND I TURN
I DON’T KNO WUT 2 SAY
AS I LAY-UP,

MJ FADE AWAY
Swish, Baltra. Swish.
Harriet : Bent
A folk tinged ballad that nods at Jeff Buckley and Jon Brion which is a much needed sonic feel for our modern times.
